Coordinating cargo across sea, road and warehouse

Cadena Logistica plans and coordinates the movement of cargo for importers, exporters, manufacturers and e-commerce businesses operating in and around Spain. Our work covers sea freight, road freight, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution, last-mile delivery and project cargo, managed as a connected supply chain rather than a series of separate bookings.

Based in Terrassa, Barcelona, we work closely with Spain's port and customs procedures and with road networks connecting Spain to the rest of the European Union. This allows us to plan routing decisions with a practical understanding of where delays typically occur, and to prepare documentation in a way that reduces the risk of hold-ups.

How we approach freight coordination

Every shipment starts with an assessment of the cargo itself: its dimensions, value, timing and destination market. From there, we recommend the transport mode or combination of modes that fits the shipment, prepare the required customs and shipping documentation, and manage the handover between each stage of the journey, whether that is a port terminal, a customs checkpoint, our Terrassa warehouse, or a final delivery point.
